Formerly the Thistle Irvine, the renamed Menzies Irvine is conveniently located in the heart of Ayrshire, on the south west of Scotland.
The hotel is easily accessible by all major road and rail links, 6 miles from Glasgow / Prestwick Airport (PIK). Just outside Irvine, this modern hotel has been carefully designed and furbished to a high standard. The hotel also offers a unique lagoon splash pool with waterslide and 9-hole golf course, beer garden, patio and children's play area with fishing around the Irvine River. There are a wide range of conference and banqueting facilities on-site with the ballroom seating up to 300 people. Local attractions are Culzean Castle, Golf, Kelburn, Burns Heritage, Loudoun theme park and the Isles of Arran, Millport and Rothesay, all easily accessible. As Scotland is now smoke free in all public areas, the smoking rooms are located upstairs only, in the far section.

By road:
from the a77, follow the a71 bypass round Kilmarnock. Follow signs to Irvine / Irvine central until the Warrix Interchange. Take the second exit signposted to Irvine central. At the roundabout take the second exit to the town centre - east. At the next roundabout, turn right to locate the hotel.
